Cooking is the best way I know, as a physician, to radically improve health. My recipe for brain-healthy eating is simple: Fill your plate with the foods proven to protect and nourish the brain, and avoid the foods that contribute to decline. I love helping people discover how delicious and satisfying these foods can be.

Annie Fenn, M.D.

Annie M. Fenn, M.D., is physician and chef who is focused on Alzheimer’s disease prevention. Dr. Fenn is the founder of Brain Health Kitchen, an online resource providing innovative whole foods-based recipes and dietary recommendations that equip people to cultivate resilient, healthy, and nourished brains for themselves and their families. As a person whose family is affected by neurodegenerative disease, Dr. Fenn deeply understands people’s concerns about dementias, as well as the urgency to take action to maintain thriving brains as we age.
